Tyson Googoo is the Lifelong Learning Guide at Mi'kmaw Kina’matnewey. Tyson has been with Mi'kmaw Kina’matnewey since November 2023.
Tyson obtained his Bachelor of Arts from Cape Breton University in 2018 and also has received his Bachelor of Education from Saint Francis Xavier University in 2021.
It was at this point; Tyson had taken a position to work out of his home community of We'koqma'q as the Adult Education Instructor. Tyson enjoys working with adults and this is where he had learned he had a passion for Adult Education and guiding individuals to reach their goals.
In his free time, Tyson enjoys being around family and friends. He enjoys travelling with his family camper and finding things to do such as kayaking, camping and/or walking trails. He can also be found in the winter walking/snowshoeing in his community of We’koqma’q.
