Gloria MacAskill-Hart is the Community Liaison for Mi’kmaw Kina’matnewey. As part of the Performance Measurement team, her responsibilities include assisting the performance measurement consultant in the sourcing, recording and analyzing of all nominal roll information, provide support and training opportunities for the Mi’kmaw Kina’matnewey student information system and develop and maintain community education profiles. She is focused on continuing her education for the betterment of her role within MK.She is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts Community Studies program at CBU.

Outside of Mi’kmaw Kina’matnewey, her biggest achievement is being a mother to two wonderful girls. She is a strong independent single mother who has taught her two girls that anything is possible. She is determined and a giver to anyone in need. Family and friends are important to her. She comes from a large family and keeping those ties close is always a priority.

Her hobbies include the love of the outdoors, reading, knitting, family history, baking and beach combing.
