Cheyenne Isaac-Gloade is the Youth Engagement Lead for the mainland at Mi’kmaw Kina’matnewey.
She's Mi’kmaq from Listuguj currently living in Millbrook NS for the past 9 years. Cheyenne is also a Fashion Designer/ Artist that incorporates Mi’kmaq culture both past and present through all that she does. She grew up heavily involved in her Mi’kmaq culture, language and the pow wow world as a jingle dress dancer in which she participates in pow wows across North America alongside her husband Garrett.
Cheyenne is dedicated and passionate to revitalizing culture through teaching and sharing culture knowledge. She is continuing her language journey with the goal of becoming fluent and is excited to always be learning from others.
