On February 8th, the Technology Integration Team (TILT) had an exciting and immersive weekend exploring cutting-edge tools that could revolutionize education! From robotics to virtual reality, our "techy group of rockstar educators" dove into hands-on experiences that sparked creativity and new ideas.
Robots & Language Learning
One of our biggest highlights was working with robots to explore how they can be used to help incorporate the Mi’kmaq language into the classroom. By leveraging technology, we’re looking at innovative ways to support language learning and make lessons more engaging and interactive for students.
Exploring VR at Soulvaria
The team also visited Soulvaria, where we explored the incredible world of Virtual Reality (VR). From immersive storytelling to hands-on learning simulations, we brainstormed creative ways VR could enhance education, making lessons more dynamic and experiential for students of all ages.
A weekend of learning and fun!
Beyond the tech, this weekend was filled with collaboration, creativity, and plenty of fun! This team of dedicated educators continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in education, and we’re excited to bring these ideas back to classrooms.
