The National Aboriginal Hockey Championship was hosted in Membertou again this year and Team Atlantic had the opportunity to showcase their skills on home ice. The 10 day tournament features elite Indigenous athletes ranging in age from 14-18 years old. Both our Team Atlantic Male and Female, acted as true ambassadors for the duration of the tournament – welcoming players to take in all that Mi'kmaki has to offer. Even though our teams did not win, the experience of such a high-level tournament was something that all of our athletes enjoyed and learned so much from.
