White Bear Drum Group shared their Gift of Drumming for the Christmas Elders Tea. Then they were asked if they would open the 'Provincial Volleyball Tournament' at Dalbrae . So they hopped on the bus & headed north to Mabou. The White Bear Drum Group then travelled to as they joined the Feast & Round Dance featuring Northern Cree. We are so proud of this group of young leaders!
WMS would thank all our Elders aqq Msit Noqmaq for attending our Annual Elders Christmas Tea. Our WMS Little Elves worked hard to decorate the halls, to bake, make tea, serve to all our special guests! Thank you to our Little Elves!!
Thank you to the amazing team of teachers, Staff, spas , students for the always stepping up to the plate and making our events work like clockwork!!
The Grade 3 students of WMS had a fantastic time making homemade apple pies with the teacher and Kiju. The students started the process by peeling the apples then making the dough. The students then donated the cooked pies to the Elder's Social.
