Angie Stevens attended a Professional Development session on Learning Through Play and wanted to learn more about how to use all of the elementary math manipulatives in Play Based Learning. With the support of Kyla Bernard, Elementary Math Consultant, she learned even more about how to encourage hands on learning and exploring mathematics while meeting outcomes in all math strands. She wanted to share some photos of her students pictures of her day with students using the math learning resources. The students showed so much joy and happiness using the resources", said Angie. "I also noticed that the math manipulatives helped the students with fine motor skills and math conversations."
