The Mi'kmaw Kina'matnewey Regional Science Fair was held in We'koqmaq on April 18th. There was not as many students participating this year as usual but those who participated did an excellent job! The prizes for the event were sponsored by Dalhousie, CBU and St.FXU. The judges for the event were from CBU; professors Chantelle Cormier, Ken Oakes and Xu Zhang, along with James Young from MK.

1st: Harrison Paul, Reid Googoo, Wayne Prosper-Googoo - What's Better, Solo or Group Work ?
Grade 9-12
2nd place - Kree Bernard- Drugs and Pregnancy.
1st place August Francis - Programming, Coding, and Merging Animation into a Video Game.
August will be attending the Canada Wide Science Fair in Edmonton, Alberta!
