We held a planning retreat for the Principals who work in MK schools across the province in January. We realize how busy our Principals are and wanted to offer them the opportunity to gather to network, collaborate, create and relax. On the first evening Jamie Metallic facilitated a session on how to make leather conch belts. They turned out so beautiful!
On day two, the principals started the day in a good way and spent some time with Blair Abbas and Jenny Kierstead who guided them through some mindfulness sessions. They spent the afternoon with Joanne Thompkins and Jeff Orr discussing the planning and work they have been doing in their schools. They had an opportunity to network and share ideas with each other and left the session feeling so passionate about the work they are going to do to continue to offer the best education for the youth in their community.
