**Story submitted by principal Newell Johnson**
On May 26th the students participated in the 'Darling Where are You' video at Goat Island. We worked with Eskasoni Band and Jaime Battiste to create a video. Myles Goodwin was at Goat Island along with Kalo Johnson and Lorraine Whitman.
This is an excerpt from Jaime Battiste's facebook Post: "Exciting times in Eskasoni at Goat Island Trail as we help create a music video to create awareness about MMIWG calls to Justice. When one of the greatest Canadian songwriters of all time calls you and wants to collaborate with you and your community, you go all out.
Thanks Myles Goodwyn for your song and working with the our community. So happy for the amazing turnout of volunteers who wanted to help out. A special shot out for the President of the Native Womens Association of Canada, Lorraine Whitman for coming to show your support and to drum in a very special scene.
We got some work left but I feel we should have an amazing music video in place to share with the world by June 21st."
The staff and students at ABMHS participated in a staff vs students ball game on May 10th. It was a very fun-filled day!
