We celebrated the Indigenous grads of CBU and Unama'ki College at a banquet in Membertou on May 19th. At MK, our primary mission is to actively promote excellence in Mi’kmaq education and to facilitate the development of lifelong learning. We do our best to support all of our students in every way we can, whether that be through tutoring, supplying technology, or financial aid. It takes a lot of hard work, dedication and commitment to complete a degree, and these students had the extra challenges of trying to go to school during a pandemic. We are so very proud of all the work they put in and were honoured to be invited to celebrate with the grads and their families on their special day. Congrats to all graduates!
