A Trades Fair was held in April for students who are taking part in Adult Learning Programs in their communities. The students arrived by bus on Wednesday afternoon and got settled in their rooms. They came together as a group for supper and took part in a quillwork session that first evening.
Day 2 involved trying out all the trades at the Trades Hall and a workshop at the hotel. They also got to see a movie that night!
On day 3, the ALP students had the opportunity to write their GED test and those who weren't writing took part in a wellness workshop with Rebecca Scirocco, Wellness Consultant. They also had a chance to win some pretty cool prizes before they went home.
