As part of the Mentor Apprentice program, the group comes together to celebrate the completion of the program. This celebration usually takes place in March and involves completing a final assessment, answering some questions about their learning experience, a meal, and a craft activity.
This year, the final celebration could not take place in the spring but they were able to gather on the final weekend of September, with some restrictions of course. Two gatherings were held instead one one large group but everyone enjoyed each other’s company and the conversation.
The Apprentices were given a new set of flash cards developed by Beverly Jeddore. They also had a great lunch and had the opportunity to make a craft.
