Atlantic Canada First Nation Help Desk update

We have been launching Nelson’s Edwin digital learning platform with our MK schools. This initiative is currently for grades 5-9, and grade 10 is coming. Edwin digital learning ecosystem gives you curriculum-linked resources, interactive tools, and curated collections to keep your classroom connected. It works with Google Classroom and promotes differentiated instruction and student centered learning. A huge shout out to Shauna MacAulay’s grade 6 class at Wagmatcookewey School for being the first class to have Nelson do an interactive presentation for her students. If you’re interested in having Nelson present to your students or want to join this great free initiative please reach out to James Young at: ac.unik@semaj.

We had our last session with Brian Buffington on April 16. He worked with the EEMS and ESK teachers to show them some quick timely technology approaches they can use with their class. Teachers who attended one of our two Saturday sessions will be receiving their special “buff Nuggets” t-shirts soon. ABMHS got their shirts already, here is Newell Johnson and Mary Lou Gould wearing theirs with their Ribbon Skirts on “Ribbon Skirt Day” April 22.
