Students at We’koqma’q Mi’kmaw School are connecting learning outcomes to land-based education. Students caught trout in the beautiful We’koqma’q Bay. Joe and Judy Googoo taught students in Grade 5 to 9 fishing to connect to cultural knowledge and Mi’kmaw language.
