Our Technology Integration Specialist, James Young, hosted a session on Gimkit on February 17th.

If you are not familiar with Gimkit, it is the ultimate gamification of learning experience. The gamification of learning is an educational approach that seeks to motivate students by using video game design and game elements to promote and foster learning. Recent research has shown that 72% of people say gamification motivates them to do tasks and work harder. 67% of students agree that gamified learning is both more engaging and motivating than traditional classes.16 educators from our family of schools joined this session and learned how to use Gimkit in their classrooms.
