A good turn out this year with the Mi’kmaq speech festival. Many new faces and also a few returning ones. This year there was a very excellent variety of speeches, poems and songs that the students of each school presented.

The regional science fair this year was held in Pictou Landing. There was many interesting experiments and projects that were very well presented by the students.

The Math Fair this year for all grades was very successful and enjoyable. All the children had a great time and learned a lot about solving problems using math and getting comfortable using numbers as a tool.
